HOLY SPIRIT POWER

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Christian Trinity, equal in power, nature, and glory to God the Father and God the Son. Key Characteristics and Roles in Christianity • Divine Person: The Holy Spirit thinks, speaks, teaches, guides, and can be grieved or lied to, rather than acting as a mere impersonal force. • Indwelling Believers: Christians believe the Holy Spirit permanently lives inside believers upon faith in Jesus Christ, sealing them and uniting them with the church. • Spiritual Growth: The Spirit produces spiritual fruit (such as love, joy, and peace) and distributes spiritual gifts to help and strengthen the community of believers. • Inspiration of Scripture: The Spirit guided the authors of the Bible to write and record God's word.
